Back by popular demand, this St. Luke’s folk music family features renowned folk singer and recording artist Elizabeth LaPrelle.
The band is led by Elizabeth LaPrelle of Rural Retreat, Virginia, who has been described as “the best young Appalachian ballad singer to emerge in recent memory.” Their music features old time fiddle, banjo, and guitar, but what truly sets this family band apart is their strong voices. The group allows their eclectic tastes to be their guide through a repertoire of ancient mountain ballads, old-time tunes, novelty songs, and gospel harmonies.
