Arts Access is a nonprofit organization that works to bridge the cultural arts and disabilities communities in North Carolina. They offer workshops, training, consulting, and outreach.

Free (but $10 if you’d like the organization to mail you paints, brush and a canvas)
Looking for a way to relax or channel your inner Vincent Van Gogh? Hoping to become the Bob Ross of your family? Grab your “happy green” and join Arts Access for an evening of painting. We’ll paint an abstract landscape and while enjoying the beverage of our choice.
Kim Tyler will be using brushes, sponges, and acrylic paint on canvas but you’re welcome to use the tools and supplies you have available and feel most comfortable with.

Art Unblocked is a 0% commission show featuring works by artists with disabilities. It can be viewed in person at Raleigh Municipal Building, 222 W. Hargett Street, Raleigh, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:15 p.m., through May 14th, 2021. It can also be seen online.
