JB Duke Hotel has partnered with Durham Art Guild for Artful Evenings: Artist in Residence Series.
Every Tuesday evening, starting at 6 p.m., through October 21, 2025, a visiting artist will be working on JB Duke Hotel’s lobby, creating a masterpiece in real time.
Six different artists will rotate through the series, appearing twice.
The artists will work in a variety of media.
This is a chance to experience the excitement watching artwork being created, as well as a chance to engage with talented artists.
Guests are invited to get cozy in the Lobby Lounge’s array of plush seating areas while engaging with each artist. A diverse selection of sharable appetizers, creative entrées and handcrafted cocktails are available for order throughout the evening. Menus are available online.
