The State Annual Singing Convention is a free event that brings thousands of people to Benson every year. It has grown to become one of the largest and oldest gospel sings in the United States.
This event celebrates southern gospel music, presenting headline acts, past winners (there won’t be a competition this year), community choirs and the Convention Choir.
The State Annual Singing Convention will take place June 25th to 27th, 2021, in a one-block oak grove located at 400 E. Main Street, Benson.
Starting time:
- Friday, June 25th: 7 p.m.
- Saturday, June 26th: 9 a.m.
- Sunday, June 27th: 10:30 a.m.
Some seating is provided, but you’re encouraged to be a lawn chair.
There’s no charge to attend the Sing.
