This year marks the 21st anniversary of the terrorist attacks on September 11th, 2001.
As we approach the anniversary of 9/11, which is sometimes known as Patriot Day, we are putting together a list of ways to commemorate that date in the Triangle. There will be several ceremonies.
In addition, September 11th is also designated as a National Day of Service and Remembrance, and we will include opportunities to participate in service projects as we learn about them.
