The Pit Authentic BBQ, 328 West Davie Street, Raleigh, is presenting the 10th Annual North Carolina ‘Cuegrass Festival on Saturday, April 21st 2018, from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Streets around The Pit will be closed to traffic and The Pit will be firing up the pig cookers.
Admission is a donation of $5 or more, which you can pay at the gate, or save time by paying on Eventbrite in advance.
Proceeds benefit SAFEchild and to the Junior League of Raleigh’s BackPack Buddies program, which helps provide children at Lacy and Hunter Elementary Schools with healthy weekend meals and snacks during the school year. Proceeds will also benefit Raleigh Cub Scout Troop 325.
The festival features The Pit’s Eastern NC style BBQ, plus live music on two stages, a Kids Zone with crafts and face painting, a silent auction full of local goodies. Of course there will be plenty of local beer and barbecue for sale.
