World Market is presenting the Golden Santa Scavenger Hunt from November 1 to 29, 2026, in its stores.
Each day, associates will hide Golden Santa game pieces (pre-printed cardboard Golden Santas) throughout the store. Shoppers who find one of them can bring it to the nearest associate and redeem it for a reward, which will be worth $20, $50, or $100.
The reward can be used for in-store purchases, but only on the day it’s awarded. No minimum purchase is required. (That is, if you get a $20 reward, you can spend it on exactly $20 of merchandise, if you choose.) The consumer is responsible for the tax on the value of the reward.
Each day, four Golden Santas will be hidden during each of these time periods:
- Open of the the store until 3 p.m.
- 4 p.m. until the store closes
Check World Market’s website for a clue, which will be posted each day. For instance “Golden Santa, it is said, can be found near something red.” (The clue for November 1!)
You may win only one time during the duration of the Golden Santa Scavenger Hunt.
Don’t get too crazy. The terms of participation include this: “Inappropriate or aggressive behavior amongst participants at any hidden Golden Santa location will not be tolerated and may result in such individuals being disqualified from participation in the Promotion, in Promoter’s sole discretion. If there is a tie, or multiple individuals arrive at a hidden Golden Santa location at the same time, Promoter reserves the right to conduct a coin toss or random drawing amongst the tied individuals to break the tie and provide one individual with the corresponding reward.”
