In the US, suicide claims three times more lives than homicide. Join Dr. Morganne Reid as she explains the pressing issue of our youth mental health crisis, and how individuals with autism face heightened susceptibility. Dr. Reid makes the case for why there is hope, and how research with autistic individuals grappling with suicidal thoughts offers valuable insights that can help shape wider suicide prevention strategies. This talk and Q&A is designed for a general audience.
