The UNC Charity Softball Game takes place Saturday, August 29, 2026, from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., at Anderson Stadium, 912 Raleigh Road, Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
Admission is free, but this event is a fundraiser for Ronald McDonald House, so donations are welcome. Your donations help provide comfort and care for families who are staying close to their child during medical treatment. Keep reading for a list of requested items.
Anderson Stadium serves as the primary donation site with additional drop-off locations at the Student Union, Chase Dining Hall, Lenoir Dining Hall, and Student and Academic Services Building North.
Family-friendly game day activities begin at 11:30 a.m. and include:
- Carolina Softball meet-and-greet
- Touch-a-Truck
- Face painting
- Kids running the bases
- 1 p.m.: A charity softball game featuring Chapel Hill Fire-Rescue vs. Carrboro Fire-Rescue, with both teams coached by members of the UNC Softball Team
The Raleigh-Durham Chapter of Las Amigas Incorporated will provide a cooling station, and food and beverages will be available for purchase.
The charity game is free and open to the public. Admission is available on a first-come, first-serve basis and is limited to the first 500 visitors. Free parking is available in the lot behind the General Administration Building, located at 910 Raleigh Road, Chapel Hill. Visitors should follow event signage to Anderson Stadium.
