The 2nd Annual Triangle Chicken Soup Cookoff will take place Sunday, January 26th, 2020, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at Temple Beth Or, 5315 Creedmoor Road, Raleigh.
It’s free to compete, and $5 to attend and taste all the soups and vote for your favorite.
All proceeds benefit the Jewish Family Services Food Pantry, which provides assistance to those in the Jewish community facing the challenges of food insecurity.
Interested in competing? Here’s the form.
The soups need to be “kosher-style,” meaning no pork, shellfish or dairy products. Soups that are Kosher will be clearly marked.
Soups will be judged by a panel of judges, which includes members of the Triangle’s culinary and Jewish communities. There will also be a People’s Choice Award.
Winner gets bragging rights and a trophy!
