Connect with a STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) professional, hear about their exciting career, enjoy some free snacks, and dive into a fun, hands-on activity. Bring your curiosity, your questions, and your friends for a chill, engaging evening of discovery and connection.
Upcoming Teen Science Cafe events at Museum of Life and Science
6 to 7 p.m. each evening.
- January 15, 2026: Tony Verdone from the Raleigh Astronomy Club. Learn how to get started with stargazing, use star charts, and mobile apps. Then, weather permitting, head outside to do some stargazing! Along the way, hear stories from Tony’s own path—what worked, what didn’t, and what kept him wanting to learn more.
