
The Common Market Durham, 1821 Green Street, Durham, North Carolina, is home to a new storytelling open mic, hosted by Hope Wilder.
It will be taking place the 2nd Thursday of the month, from 6 to 8 p.m. The first one is on Thursday, July 9, 2026.
It’s free to attend, whether you’re telling a story or just listening.
This event is a casual meetup to hear and share stories in front of a supportive audience. Sign up starting at 5 p.m. for 7-10 minute slots.
Hear a story, tell a story! This monthly open mic is an opportunity to tell and hear 7-10 minute true personal stories. Every month the organizers pick a theme. You don’t have to tell on the theme but it makes it more fun. Audience members welcome!
