Sertoma Series is a free concert series in Sertoma Amphitheatre in Bond Park, 801 High House Road, Cary. There are some seats, so if you want one, come early. Or bring your own lawn chair. The concerts take place one Saturday of the month, from May to August, 2019. They start at 7 p.m.
Sertoma Amphitheatre is nestled away inside Bond Park. This intimate venue is a perfect setting for outdoor concerts. Come early for a seat, or pack your own portable chair.
Concerts are free and open to the public.

Based out of Wilkesboro, NC, The Trailblazers have taken a step back to the roots of bluegrass, Americana, folk, and jazz music. The band has a solid foundation in the music they love, and they’re constantly looking for new ways to make their mark in progressive acoustic music. The Trailblazers make original music and put their own twist on endless classics, and they released their debut album, A place to call my own, in 2016. They are the 2018 IBMA Momentum Band of the Year and have won many prestigious contests, including Merlefest (2017) and the SPBGMA International Band Contest (2018). They also have opened for acclaimed acts such as Ricky Skaggs and Kentucky Thunder, Blue Highway, and The Kruger Brothers.
Violet Bell

Violet Bell’s original Americana is woven from threads of folk, soul, bluegrass, psychedelic, and classical music. Violet Bell weaves roots, soul, psychedelic, and classical music into a lush, wild soundscape. On stage and in the studio, the North Carolina duo of Lizzy Ross (guitar, banjo, vocals) and Omar Ruiz-Lopez (violin, viola, cello, guitar, mandolin, vocals) share magnetic chemistry. The two have played over 300 shows from Montreal to Miami in the last two years, and recently cut their debut LP Honey in My Heart which captures the fiery intimacy of their live show.
Al Strong and the 99 Brass Band

The 99 (Nine Nine) Brass Band was formed in the Spring of 2018 through an impromptu Mardi Gras celebration at The Durham Hotel. Since that time, the band has performed at various venues in the Triangle area, refining both their sound and repertoire. Co-Directed by drummer/producer Jeremy ‘Bean’ Clemons and renowned trumpet player Al Strong, the band delivers powerfully inspiring arrangements with a New Orleans Brass Band sound that’s unmatched. Al Strong is well known in the Triangle’s growing jazz scene as a gifted musician, arranger, and compose. Playing live, this 7-piece group brings a boundless energy that will get the party started from the drop of the downbeat!
Zoocru

Zoocrü formed amidst the thriving music and arts community of Durham. Common interests and experiences brought together founding members Jonathan Curry (drums), Christian Sharp (bass) and Alan Thompson (vocals). They were joined by Russell Favret (guitar) in 2014. Zoocrü creates a delicious fusion of blended musical elements derived from the core influences of black music. Jazz serves as the foundation, with added elements of hip hop, blues, rock, and gospel. Zoocrü aims to create sounds that heal the broken, tunes to honor the fallen, and pay homage to their musical roots.
