Charlie’s Collectible Show is bringing Retro Video Game Expo to Triangle Town Center, 3801 Sumner Blvd, Raleigh, North Carolina, on August 15 and 16 2026, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.
It will take place in the former Macy’s space.
Entry and parking are free. Some activities have a fee.
Vendors and collectors bring out consoles, cartridges, imports, accessories, and rare gaming finds from across generations. Every table is a different checkpoint in gaming history.
There will be plenty of free play, and also tournaments. It costs $5 to compete in a tournament. You’ll find the registration forms for the tournaments here.
PS4, PS5, and Switch Consoles Free Play — Both Days
Grab a controller, challenge your friends, and settle some rivalries with a lineup of competitive favorites including Super Smash Bros., Tekken 8, Street Fighter 6, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Dragon Ball FighterZ, FIFA, and Madden NFL.
Super Smash Bros. Tournament — Saturday | 12PM-2PM
Battle through the bracket in a Super Smash Bros. tournament featuring competitive matches, big plays, and plenty of clutch moments. Grab your main, lock in your strategy, and see who takes the top spot. Entry Fee: $5.
Tekken 8 Tournament — Saturday | 3PM-4:30PM
The Tekken 8 Tournament puts your combos, reactions, and matchup knowledge to the test. Pick your fighter, battle through the bracket, and prove you have what it takes. Entry Fee: $5.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Tournament — Sunday | 12PM-2PM
Race against fellow players in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and compete for bragging rights. Watch out for blue shells, master your shortcuts, and see who crosses the finish line first. Entry Fee: $5.
Street Fighter 6 Tournament — Sunday | 3PM-4:30PM
Step into the world of Street Fighter 6 and test your skills against other competitors. Perfect your combos, choose your fighter, and battle your way through the competition.
