The RDU Book Crawl is a weekend long event celebrating independent bookstores across the “Raleigh and Durham” area. Participants are encouraged to visit as many participating bookstores as they can during the crawl.
For the purposes of this crawl, the “Raleigh Durham area” is the whole Triangle, and more. One of the bookstores is in Fayetteville, which is pretty far away from everything else, and one is in Pittsboro. The rest are in Raleigh, Holly Springs, Chapel Hill, Apex, Durham and Wake Forest. So, if you really have the goal of visiting them all to try to win the top prize, you’ll need some gas in the tank.

Plan Your Crawl

Visit Participating Bookstores
Stop by any of the bookstores on the crawl during the event weekend. Each shop will have a special stamp for participants. Each location will have plenty of passports for you to pick up!
Collect Stamps
Bring your Book Crawl passport and collect a stamp at each bookstore you visit. 1 stamp = 1 raffle ticket
Discover New Reads
Browse shelves, meet fellow readers, and support independent bookstores while exploring new books. Post along the way and tag @rdubookcrawl to show off your journey!
Enter the Raffle
Fill out this form to be entered into a raffle for prizes donated by all of the participating bookstores.
Those who complete all 10 bookstores will be entered to win the 1st place prize! All other participants will be added to the general raffle for 2nd and 3rd. You can see the prizes here.
