Great news for the Triangle! Raleigh’s International Food Festival is returning!
It will take place Saturday, August 28th, 2021 from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m., at City Plaza, 420 Fayetteville Street, Raleigh. Mark your calendars now!
This very popular festival will feature a wide variety of international food, international beer and wine, international performers and more.
The Tricycle Race
Another fun event at Raleigh’s International Food Festival is the Tricycle Race. The races take place at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.
Here’s how to compete:
- Bring a tricycle
- Pick a time
- Adults and children are welcome
- Meet at the corner of Davie and Fayetteville Street
- Look for the Empower All banner
- There will be two winners at each race, at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.
- Winners win $25
- Winners are announced from the stage
Learn salsa, samba, belly dance, and much more! Here’s the type of dancing, or the country of origin of the dancing, that you can expect throughout the festival.

- 12:10 p.m.: Hawaii
- 12:30 p.m.: Mexico

- 6 p.m: Venezuela

- 8 p.m.: Danz
- 8:45 p.m.: Night Shift Band
Zumba Around the World
At 6:15 p.m. take place in the Largest Zumba in Raleigh, City Plaza, 400 Block Fayetteville Street, including Cubia, Merengue, Belly Dance, A-Pop, Punta, Tambores, Kizomba, Afro Beat, Soca and mure. It’s free to participate.
