18th Annual Ghost Dance in Downtown Raleigh Oct. 16

The 18th Annual Ghost Dance in Raleigh takes place Friday, October 18, 2026, from 8 to 9 p.m. This event starts outside Oakwood Cemetery, 700 Oakwood Avenue, Raleigh, North Carolina.

Admission is a suggested $5, which is a donation to help prevent cruelty to animals. Exact change is encouraged.

Outside the cemetery, learn the Ghost Dance. You’ll learn simple moves, and then music will be put on and the group will dance in the street.

This event is mostly for adults and teens. Kids are welcome to join, but the steps will be too challenging for small children.

The sign-in desk is in front of the cemetery gate.

Costumes are optional.
