The Suffragist Project: The Suffragist Project is a limited audio drama series about the suffrage movement in America. Each episode covers different time periods and suffrage leaders in the fight to win the vote for women. Spanning the 70+ years from the first organizing meeting in 1848 in Seneca Falls, NY to the dramatic last minute change of heart vote of one young representative in the Tennessee Legislature, these stories bring the real women and men who fought for and against enfranchisement for women.Th e Suffragist Project is produced by OdysseyStage in association with the Triangle Playwrights. This production is supported by the Orange County Arts Commission and the Manbites Dog Theatre Fund.

Criminal: This podcast is not Triangle-focused, but it is created in the Triangle. This is one of the most popular podcasts anywhere. Each episode tells the story of a crime. It’s pretty addictive.
Criminal Conduct Podcast: A true-crime, investigative podcast, hosted by John Taylor and Javier Leiva.
Twisted: A true-crime podcast hosted by John Taylor. You have more than 100 episodes to enjoy. Often two episodes are devoted to one crime story. Recent episodes focused on NFL superstar Aaron Hernandez’ arrest for murder, a discussion of Al Capone, and the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Pretend: A documentary-style true crime podcast about real people pretending to be someone else. The host interviews con artists, snake oil salesmen, undercover FBI agents–pretty much anyone living a lie.
Finance
Financial Symmetry: Practical talk on retirement and personal finance topics from local financial advisors.
Couple Money: The host talks with financial experts, journalists, as well as real life couples who have done things like paying off six figures of debt, overcoming financial infidelity, starting a business together and retiring early. Get tools and tips that will help you be successful in finances and marriage.

Six Point Weekend Podcast: This podcast for soccer fans. It’s devoted to North Carolina FC and the North Carolina Courage.
Runologie Podcast with Joe Ovies: The Runologie Podcast is for anyone interested in running, from the novice to the elite. Learn about races, run clubs, and anything running related.
Summer of Miles: The Summer of Miles podcast was developed by Sir Walter Miler Race Directors, Pat Price and Sandy Roberts, to give fans more incite into what the Sir Walter Miler is. They discuss the race, the lead up, interview competitors, and more.

Away Message: This podcast is not produced in the Triangle, but features so much great North Carolina content that it has to be mentioned. It’s from “Our State Magazine,” and is produced by Jeremy Markovich. Each episode travels to a spot in North Carolina, often the most remote spots, and tells a fascinating story.
