Raleigh City Farm is a nonprofit urban farm founded in 2011 on a formerly vacant one-acre lot in Downtown Raleigh, at 800 N. Blount Street. Their mission is to grow the next generation of farmers by connecting the community to sustainable agriculture.
Raleigh City Farm offers workshops, tours, special events and more. You can find the upcoming events on the event page on the website.
Every Wednesday through October, Raleigh City Farm operates a farm stand from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Come on by to purchase produce that’s grown right there on the urban farm. Follow Raleigh City Farm on Instagram for updates.
The harvest varies, but includes items like:
- French breakfast radishes
- Red Russian kale
- Green onions
- Floral bouquets

Flow Yoga at the Farm
On Saturdays at 8 a.m. and Mondays at 6:30 p.m., join a flow yoga class on the farm, taught by Renée Baker. This is an all levels yoga class that synchronizes the movement of the breath with the body. It’s currently on the schedule through the end of August.
The class size is limited, and you need to register ahead of time. You’ll find the links to register on Raleigh City Farm’s event page.
Pay what you can (suggested amount $15.) A portion of your payment goes to Raleigh City Farm.
The class is weather permitting.
