Peace and Love is a community event to celebrate America’s 250th on Saturday, July 4, 2026, from 3 to 8 p.m., at Fred Fletcher Park, 820 Clay Street, Raleigh, North Carolina.
This is a free event for all ages, but please RSVP to help with planning.
The event includes:
- Performance by United Strings of Color — A Change is Gonna Come and Stereotypes, with narration
- Concert of music from the musical, “Hair” at 6:30 p.m.
- Free hands-on children’s activities from 3 to 5:30 p.m.
- Spoken word artists, including NC Poet Laureate Dasan Ahanu and more
- Food trucks
- More
