
The Plant and Fullsteam Brewery are presenting the second Pawpaw Palooza at The Plant, 220 Lorax Lane, Pittsboro, North Carolina, on Sunday, August 30, 2026, from 12 to 6 p.m.
It’s free to attend.
Celebrate North America’s largest native fruit at Pawpaw Palooza. Sample creative uses of this regional treasure while enjoying local food, drinks, shopping, and live music.
Festival Schedule
- 12 p.m.: Festival Opening Bell
- 1 p.m.: Pawpaw 101 — Curious about pawpaws? Join horticulture extension agent and pawpaw enthusiast Christian Flores for Pawpaw 101, a one-hour talk and Q&A covering the basics of growing, harvesting, and enjoying this unique native fruit.
- 3, 4, and 5 p.m.: Garden Tours — Tours depart from the Little Pond Gardens booth on the hour
- 3 to 6 p.m.: Live Music with Forest Rising
Arts & Crafts: Stop by the Roam Paint Press art truck for botanically-inspired craft projects

- Pawpaw trees and seeds for sale! In addition to Rachel’s Native Plants, there will be one more vendor on-site. Trees and seeds will be available in a limited limited quantity, on a first-come, first-serve basis.
