Old Mill Farm at the Vineyard, 8913 Hwy 751, Durham, is hosting a new event that is sure to be a favorite with families. It will take place every other Friday from June 29th, 2018, to September 21st. See the dates below, along with the live music schedule.
Fridays on the Farm will feature live music, a petting zoo, and hayrides with goats. Word is that the goats love riding along on hayrides, especially with children who have sticky fingers.
The cost is $10 per vehicle, and you must reserve your ticket in advance, online. There are only a limited number of parking spaces, so they’re selling only 100 tickets. The $10 benefits Kids Farms Foundation scholarships.
UPDATE: At the July 13th event there will be baby alpacas.
Pony rides and gem mining will be available for an additional cost. Food will be for sale, and beer from Mystery Brewing will be available for purchase. Fishing rods will be available for use.
