The Plant, at 220 Lorax Lane, Pittsboro, North Carolina, is presenting its 3rd Annual Okra Jamboree on Sunday, August 2, 2026, from 12 to 6 p.m.

It’s free to attend this celebration of okra.

Here’s what’s going on:

12 to 6 p.m.: Garden Tour (tours leave on the hour)
3 to 6 p.m.: Live music from Righteous Roots
4 p.m.: A Brief History of Okra: Panel Discussion (during intermission from the music)
Food and drink specials
