The Annual North Carolina Hot Sauce Contest and Festival will take place on Friday, September 11, and Saturday, September 2026, in Downtown Oxford, NC.

Friday: 5 to 10 p.m.
Saturday: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

This free, family-friendly festival will feature:

Pepper eating contest
Hot sauce competition
Live music
Food trucks

Friday 8:00 pm – 10:00 pm Live Music featuring: Bounce! Party Band
Saturday 10:30 am – 12:30 pm Live Music featuring: The Band Next Door
Saturday 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm Live Music featuring: Miss Mini and the Sandman Band
Saturday 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm Live Music Featuring: Bryan’s Hill Band
