Enjoy an evening of art, music, and creative energy. Explore the galleries after dark, experience live music or a DJ set, and take part in hands-on art activities inspired by works from the People’s Collection.

Celebrate the opening of Ancient Nubia at After Hours, an evening of art, music, and creativity inspired by the exhibition and the cultures, histories, and artistic traditions of Nubia. Explore the galleries after dark, enjoy live music and special activities, and experience the exhibition in a vibrant social atmosphere.

Live Screen Printing with Zaire Miles-Moultrie
Watch local artist Zaire Miles-Moultrie screen print a special edition artwork created for After Hours and take home a complimentary print while supplies last.
Art Activities
Get creative with hands-on art activities inspired by the evening and the exhibition.
7–9 pm: Brewed and Bewitched (ticketed)
The memory of a grandfather’s favorite indulgences inspired this fall tasting experience featuring expertly paired craft beers, house-made desserts from the Catering Works pastry team, and nostalgic Halloween candy. Guests journey through a series of tasting stations, exploring how unexpected pairings can transform familiar flavors. Prepaid reservations required.
8 pm: Ancient Nubia Exhibition Tour
Explore Ancient Nubia on a guided tour highlighting works and stories from the exhibition.

Enjoy a special After Hours celebrating new installations by artists Nancy Baker Cahill and Ronny Quevedo. Experience an evening of contemporary art, music, and creative energy as the Museum comes alive after dark. Explore the galleries, enjoy live music and hands-on activities, and connect with bold artistic perspectives throughout the evening.
The night features large-scale digital and projection-based works by Baker Cahill alongside a new installation by Quevedo, creating immersive experiences across the Museum campus.
