
Chapel Hill Public Library, at 100 Library Drive, Chapel Hill, North Carolina, is hosting a Moon Party on Sunday, April 26, 2026, from 2 to 4 p.m.
This free event is for kids in grades K-8.
Drop by to learn all about the Moon: its phases, the craters that mark its surface, and why it matters to you. You’ll enjoy hands-on activities and displays about the Moon and discover why astronauts on Artemis II are preparing to head back toward lunar space.
Afterwards, you might even feel ready to head on your own lunar journey! Stroll through Pritchard Park and explore every planet in our solar system on the popular Solar System Walk.
