The Town of Garner’s Memorial Day Observance will take place Monday, May 25, 2026, at 9:30 a.m., at the Garner Veterans Memorial in Lake Benson Park, 921 Buffaloe Road, Garner.

This annual observance honors those who died while serving our country in the armed forces. Guided tours of the Garner Veterans Memorial will be conducted before the event and after its conclusion.
This free event is co-sponsored by Garner Veterans Advisory Committee. Please bring a lawn chair for seating.
The event will honor the life and service of PFC Enrique C. Sanchez and welcome keynote speaker Jimmie Bellamy, General Counsel for the North Carolina Department of Military and Veterans Affairs
