Magnetic Sound Studios, at Lakewood, 2020 Chapel Hill Road, Durham, North Carolina, is hosting FREE Third Friday concerts to coincide with Third Friday Artwalk in Durham.
The first one features Near Blind James & Harmonica Bob on Friday, June 19, 2026, from 6 to 8 p.m. This local acoustic blues duo plays Piedmont Blues, Ragtime, Hokum, Rockabilly and gospel tunes.
No ticket required. Come have some snacks and drinks with Magnetic Sound Studios, enjoy the live music, peruse their collection of locally-produced artwork and enjoy some rare jazz photographs while checking out the studio, our control room and soaking up their analog vibe!
