The 5th Annual Magical Hill Festival will take place on Saturday, April 26, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Chapel Hill Community Center Park, 120 E. Estes Drive, Chapel Hill.
This event will also be an Earth Day celebration.
Compete in a Fairy Garden contest, for prizes. Pre-registration is required for the Fairy Garden Contest.

This free event is a magical day of art, adventure and nature. It features activities for kids of all ages:
- Chapel Hill Transit Electrical Bus Display
- Society for Creative Anachronism
- Chapel Hill’s Storm Water activities
- Electric landscaping equipment
- Meet reptiles, including snakes, lizard, a bearded dragon and a blue tongue skink
- Rock climbing
- Archery
- Magic show
- More!
Costumes are encouraged.
After the festival, there will be a Greenway Mural Walk and Artist Talk. From 2 to 4 p.m., walk the Bolin Creek Greenway (trailhead inside the park.) Walk at your own pace, for as long as you’d like (maximum 2.2 miles each way) and stop at each mural to meet the artist, who will talk about their work and answer questions.
