Flowing Melodies: Lunar New Year Performance at Chapel Hill Public Library

Flowing Melodies Chinese Music Ensemble is performing at Chapel Hill Public Library, 100 Library Drive, Chapel Hill, North Carolina, on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at 11 a.m.

This is a free performance for the Lunar New Year.

They’ll perform the 21-string zither (guzheng), the lute (pipa), and the 7-string zither (guqin). From ancient tunes to modern songs, they’ll weave together the traditions of the Lunar New Year with music to celebrate the Year of the Dragon.

All ages are welcome.
