Living in Color is an art exhibit at The Chapel at Dix Park, 1030 Richardson Drive, Raleigh, NC, that showcases visual art representing the experience of people of color living in the south. It’s a curated Black History Month artist exhibition, in partnership with Raleigh Film and Art Festival.

Opening Reception for Living in Color
The opening reception takes place Saturday, February 1, 2025, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
The reception will include:
- Drinks and light hors d’oeuvres
- Spoken word feature performance
- 15 minute live theatrical dance performance
- Mixing & mingling with live music
It’s free to attend the opening reception, and tickets are not required, but RSVPing helps with planning.

Living in Color: Meet the Artists
There will be two “Meet the Artists” events, during which you can drop in and meet the people behind the art to ask questions and hear personal insights. The Meet the Artists events are free to attend:
- Saturday, February 15, 2025, 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.: Living in Color: Meet the Artists
- Saturday, February 22, 2025, 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.: Living in Color: Meet the Artists
Living in Color Exhibit Open Hours
After the opening reception, exhibit open hours will be:
- Tuesdays and Thursdays: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Saturdays and Sundays: 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Except for February 9 from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., and February 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
