It happens just once every four years, so Leap Day, February 29th, 2024, is bringing some special deals to the Triangle.
Some are for everyone and some are for just Leap Day Babies, those who can show proof that their birthdays are February 29th. They only get a birthday every four years, so they deserve the special deals!

Hungry Howie’s: Hungry Howie’s is offering guests a special BOGO promo to celebrate the Leap Year: Buy one large pizza, get one for 29¢. This offer is valid from Monday, February 26 through Thursday, February 29, 2024, for carry-out only.
Hooters of America: On February 29, 2024, HootClub Rewards members with the app downloaded and a Hooters of America location favorited will receive a reward for a select appetizer for just $2.29. Limit one per account. The select appetizers include cheese sticks, fried pickles, chips & queso, lots-a-tots, cheese & pretzels, or buffalo shrimp. Krispy Kreme Leap Day deal: On February 29, buy a dozen regularly priced doughnuts and get a dozen Original Glazed for $2.29. And if your birthday is February 29, get a dozen Original Glazed for free, with no purchase required!
Leap Day on the Willard Rooftop Lounge: Leap Babies get 29% off their food bill on February 29, 2024. (Not including alcoholic drinks.)

Tiff’s Treats: If you born on a Leap Day, you can enter to win a gift card for four dozen cookies. There will be 100 winners.

Chipotle: Chipotle Rewards members who use the code EXTRA24 at checkout on the Chipotle app and website will get free guacamole. In addition, starting February 26, 2024, there will be a scavenger hunt on Chipotle’s Instagram account, which will reward up to 29 fans with free guac for a year. Leap Day Party at Southwest Regional Library: Durham County Library is holding a free Leap Day Celebration at 4 p.m., with fun, games, activities and snacks.
Leap Day Party at Boxcar Bar + Arcade Raleigh: This special Leap Day edition of the weekly Single Mingle event features $4 wells, a free skee ball tournament and the opening of the 2020 time capsule. 8 p.m. to midnight.
