Kiwanis Miniature Train, at Herman Park, 900 Park Avenue, Goldsboro, is offering FREE train rides on Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 1 to 5 p.m. The park is about 56 miles to the southeast of Raleigh.
This special event is sponsored by Wayne County health & Human Services. Announced on Facebook.
Can’t make it then? The train is open Saturdays and Sundays through October, from 1 to 5 p.m. The regular price is only $1, for 2 or 3 times around the track.
The train does not operate when rain or snow makes the tracks wet or heat index is greater than 95 degrees. Closures are posted on Facebook.
