JAWSFest, a Memorial Day Weekend celebration, is returning to the Midway in downtown Chapel Hill, NC in 2026. It includes a mechanical shark, art, live music, a dunk tank, raffle, and, of course, Jaws on the big screen.
There’s a lot going on at different businesses, and it’s a little bit hard to pin down online exactly everything that’s happening, but if you go there, you’ll figure it out. We’ll update as we hear more details.
It’s a big block party. Use 106 N Graham Street, Chapel Hill. Participating businesses generally include The Baxter, Lapin Bleu and Local 506, but events will also take place outside, in the Midway Alley. Other businesses, might also be joining in the fun.
Jaws Fest takes place Sunday, May 24, 2026. Businesses will be hosting various events during all their opening hours. We’ll update about them as we hear!
