
The annual Dix Park Inter-Tribal Pow Wow will be held at Dorothea Dix Park on Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
The event will take place at Harvey Hill at Dix Park, 101 Blair Drive, Raleigh, North Carolina.
It’s open to the public and free to attend.
Presented in partnership with Triangle Native American Society, experience a day of competition dancing and drumming, vendors and music showcasing the incredible legacy and culture of Indigenous communities living in North Carolina today at the annual Dix Park Inter-Tribal Pow Wow.

Tribal Citizens and Native Dancers & Drummers from across the state are invited to sign up for the competitions. There will be cash prizes for various categories. On-site registration: 9 to 11:30 a.m.

What to Bring
- Lawn chairs and picnic blankets
- Refillable water bottles.
- Food and non-alcoholic beverages are permitted.
- Closed-toe shoes are recommended, as the event site is grass covered and has uneven ground.
- Dogs are permitted, but please use your best judgment as we’re expecting a lot of people, so it will likely be crowded and loud. All dogs must be leashed, well-behaved and cleaned up after.
