National Night Out is a program that encourages local police departments to connect with the community in a fun way, and encourages the community members to stand together for safety and awareness. The official date is the first Tuesday in August, although not all communities hold their National Night Out event on that date.
Some National Night Out events are for the general public and some are for members of specific communities or neighborhoods.
Holly Springs is holding its National Night Out celebration on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, from 6 to 8:30 p.m., at North Main Athletic Complex, 101 Sportsmanship Way, Holly Springs, North Carolina.
It’s free to attend.
The annual event typically includes bounce houses, food trucks, music, emergency vehicles on display, and opportunities to talk with first responders, including those from animal services, the Fire and Police departments, and telecommunicators from the Emergency Communications Center.
