Hamilton Tickets in Durham
Hamilton is returning to Durham Performing Arts Center May 17th to June 5th, 2022. Tickets for many of the performances are sold out, except for some verified resale tickets.
However, if you were not able to get tickets, or they are out of your price range, don’t give up hope! 40 tickets at $10 each are available for each performance via a digital lottery, Ham4Ham. (An Alexander Hamilton $10 for the show!) Keep reading for details.
You should know that 3rd party ticket sellers are a bad idea. The tickets may not be honored. And do keep checking back on DPAC’s website, as tickets sometimes do become available.
But, also, know that this digital lottery is straight from Hamilton. The musical stipulates that in every city a certain number of low-priced tickets are available through this digital lottery. Keep reading for details on how to enter.
$10 Tickets to Hamilton
Use the official app for “Hamilton”, available for all iOS and Android devices in the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store — go to hamiltonmusical.com/app.
Subsequent digital lotteries will begin on each Friday at 10 a.m., and close the following Thursday, at 12 p.m., for the next week’s performances.
How to enter the digital lottery for Hamilton tickets in Durham
- Use the official app for HAMILTON, now available for all iOS and Android devices in the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store (http://hamiltonmusical.com/app).
- The lottery will open at 10:00 AM every Friday and will close for entry at 12:00 PM the next Thursday prior to the following week’s performances.
- Winner and non-winner notifications will be sent between 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM every Thursday for the upcoming week’s performances via email and mobile push notification. Winners will have two hours to claim and pay for their ticket(s).
- No purchase or payment necessary to enter or participate.
- Each winning entrant may purchase up to two (2) tickets.
- Only one entry per person. Repeat entries and disposable email addresses will be discarded.
- Lottery tickets may be picked up at will call beginning 2 hours prior to the performance with a valid photo ID.
- Lottery tickets void if resold.
- All times listed are in the local time zone.

- Patrons must be 18 years or older to enter the lottery
- You must have a valid, non-expired photo ID that matches the name used to enter
- Tickets are non-transferable
