Gene Strowd Community Rose Garden, at the Chapel Hill Community Center at 120 S Estes Street, Chapel Hill, North Carolina, contains hundreds of rose bushes, of many varieties, as well as companion plants.
It’s free to visit the rose garden from dawn to dusk.
Strowd Roses is celebrating its 25th Anniversary on Sunday, September 27, 2026, from 3 to 4:30 p.m. The celebration is FREE to attend. No reservations are required.
The celebration includes:
- Complimentary refreshments
- Guided garden tours
- Live music by Sisters’ Voices
