William B. Umstead State Park, 8801 Glenwood Avenue in Raleigh, features an extensive network of trails hikers, runners, equestrians and bicyclists, as well as lakes for fishing and boating, and facilities for camping and picnicking.
The park has two entrances:
- Crabtree Creek Entrance at 8801 Glenwood Ave., Raleigh, 27617
- Reedy Creek Entrance at 2100 N. Harrison Ave., Cary, 27513
Activities for both adults and kids are regularly scheduled at the park. Most are free but some require pre-registration. Make sure to follow the links to see if the programs are filled up or if there have been changes.

Come learn about the changing of the seasons with Anna and Ranger Erica. We will be going for a short hike and doing some fun activities back at the Visitor Center. Geared toward pre-school and elementary ages. We will be learning some Spanish vocabulary!
