Carrboro Music Festival Sept. 27: 100+ bands at many venues, with kick-off Sept. 26

Carrboro Music Festival returns on Sunday, September 27, 2026. The festival is free, and will feature roughly 100 bands and performers at multiple venues around Carrboro, North Carolina.

The event starts with a kick-off event on Saturday, September 26, including:

2 to 4 p.m.: Open Mic at Town Commons
Music Market at the ArtsCenter, featuring exclusive merch, band signings and mor
Kickoff show at Cat’s Cradle featuring Joseph and Jacob & Friends, with support by Wes Coatney

The main event is Sunday, September 27, 2026, starting at 1 p.m.

Hip-Hop & Grooves will take place in Cat’s Cradle’s back room, 300 E Main Street, Carrboro, NC, on Sunday at 2 p.m. It’s free to attend.
