A note about SNAP. Many farmers’ markets offer Double Bucks for SNAP recipients. Pay with your EBT card at the information booth and you’ll receive double that amount in market vouchers. Please note that funding has decreased for this program, so lower limits might apply. Ask the individual farmers’ market about details. Also, some farmers’ markets might offer Double Bucks, but we don’t list it below, because we didn’t see it on their website.

Chapel Hill Farmers’ Market

South Durham Farmers Market

Perkins Orchard

Perkins is a privately owned produce market that’s been in operation for over 50 years. It’s the largest and oldest produce market in Durham. Every day, you can fill a peck bag with any fruits or vegetables for just $25. The only things you can’t put in the bag are jar goods, eggs, and cheese. Not only that, but when you buy a $25 bag you get a free item too.
Grace Community Farmers Market
