Orange County Sustainability is presenting Drive Electric! This event takes place Saturday, October 3, 206, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m, at the Board of Elections Parking Lot, 208 S Cameron Street, Hillsborough, North Carolina.
This is a free event.
The free community event will offer a hands-on look at electric vehicles and give residents an opportunity to learn directly from people who drive them.
Attendees can:
- Get inside a variety of electric vehicles and see what they are like up close.
- Talk with local EV owners about their experiences.
- Ask questions about driving, charging and owning an electric vehicle.
- Learn why more drivers are making the switch to electric vehicles.
Whether you’re simply curious about electric vehicles or is seriously considering purchasing one, the event is designed to provide an informal opportunity to get questions answered and learn from members of the community.
The event is presented by Orange County, Nolasco Sustainability and EV drivers from the community as part of National Drive Electric Month, a nationwide celebration highlighting the benefits and possibilities of electric transportation.
