Strouds Creek Farm, at 1600 Friendship Lane, Hillsborough, is holding its 10th Annual Chestnut Festival on Saturday, November 7, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The festival is free for adults, and $10 for those age 18 and under.
Enjoy a full day of family-friendly activities for all ages – bounce house, pony rides, games, goats, bunnies, and of course, chestnuts!
Activities included in the price of admission of $10/child under 18 (Adults are free):
- Bounce house
- Pony rides
- Petting the goats and bunnies
- Sandbox loaded with treasure to sift through
- Games
Activities with an extra fee include:
- Jump rope making $6
- Face Painting $5
You will have the chance to purchase homemade cream of chestnut soup. Made from chestnuts grown and harvested on Strouds Creek Farm. Roasted chestnuts will be available for purchase, as well as raw chestnuts by the pound.
There will also be hot pretzels, cider, root beer, and orange cream soda for sale.
