Chabad of Durham/Chapel Hill is presenting two free Hanukkah celebrations for the community in Durham, one at Jewish For Good (Levin JCC) and one at Streets of South Point.

Community Chanukah Celebration

Hanukkah starts the evening of November 28th, 2021, but Chabad of Durham/Chapel Hill is getting into the Hanukkah spirit early with this Community Chanukah Celebration on Sunday, November 21st, 2021, from 3 to 5 p.m. It takes place at Jewish for Good (Levin JCC) at 1937 W. Cornwallis Road, Durham.
The event features:
- Award winning BMX Stunt Show
- Fire Truck Chocolate Gelt Drop
- Donuts
- Prizes
- Hot latkes (potato pancakes)
- Chanukah crafts
- Activities

Chanukah Celebration at Streets at Southpoint

On Sunday, November 28th, 2021, celebrate the first night of Hanukkah at this outdoor Chanukah celebration at Streets at Southpoint, 6910 Fayetteville Road, Durham, at 4:30 p.m. Meet up in front of Barnes & Noble. (8030 Renaissance Parkway, Durham, might be a better address.)
This celebration will include:
- Kids’ crafts
- Latkes
- Donuts
- Chanukah prize for each child
