Carolina Sunshine Alpaca Farm, at 7084 US Highway 64 W, Pittsboro, will be celebrating National Alpaca Farm Day on Saturday, September 23, and Sunday, September 24, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Advance tickets are $7 per person, and tickets at bought at the farm are $9 per person. Kids under age 3 are admitted for free.

- See animals
- Learn about alpacas
- Walk the farm
- Make a fun craft project to take home
- Photo booth
- Shop in the farm store
- Bring a picnic
- See fiber arts demonstrations
- Ice cream truck 11am-1pm
The farm is working on becoming fully ADA compliant, but has a few challenges for some guests. There are ramps to allow access to all areas, but there are ledges at some doorways, loose gravel paths, and uneven walking areas. We also have loud fans that keep the alpacas cool but may be difficult for those who are noise sensitive.
