The square dancing group, Capital Squares, is hosting a Square Dance Party on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, from 7 to 9 p.m., at St. James United Methodist Church, 3808 St. James Church Road, Raleigh, North Carolina, in Carson Hall.
No experience required.
Tickets are $10.38 for adults and $6.11 for students age 16 and older. Kids 10 to 15 are admitted for free.

This is an introductory dance with participation by new dancers along with experienced dancers. Learn Modern Western Square Dance, which is a series of dance moves by 8 people in a square and cued by a caller to music.
Dress is casual. Singles welcome. Children age 10 and older are welcome with a participating adult.
Capital Squares also hosts Square Dance Parties and classes.
