
Waltonwood Lead Mine, a senior living community at 4510 Lead Mine Road, Raleigh, North Carolina, is hosting their annual two-hour “camp” for kids. The event is for the children of Waltonwood associates as well as those in the surrounding community.
Camp Waltonwood takes place on Saturday, August 8, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. It’s absolutely free, but space is limited and RSVP is required by July 31. RSVP by calling 984-304-9900.
This event is for kids ages 4-12 and includes a variety of carnival games: balloon darts, Plinko, a cash cube, a bullseye ball, as well as a magic show, face painter and balloon artist.
A FREE lunch of hot dogs, hamburgers, sno-cones and other beverages will be served. There will be no fee for anything, and tickets won at games can be traded in for prizes!
