Fall Festival and Plant Sale at Briggs Avenue Community Garden in Durham Sept. 13

Briggs Avenue Community Garden, which is owned and operated by NCSU-Cooperative Extension-Durham County, is holding its fall festival and plant sale on Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

This is a free event. Donations are appreciated.

The garden is at 1314 S. Briggs Avenue, Durham, NC.

The plants are very affordable. They are all $3!

In addition to the plant sale, the event includes:

Free seed and compost giveaway
$1 raffle — win prizes from local Durham businesses
Pepper tasting — taste a variety of peppers, from sweet to spicy
Kids’ activities
Ask a Master Gardener
