Book Bonanza takes place Thursday, July 10, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., at Fenton Square by Paragon Theaters, 21 Fenton Main Street, Cary, North Carolina. It’s free to attend.
Luke from Luke’s Entertainment will perform Pepito & The Trash Cans, a bilingual, musical storytelling experience that teaches Spanish vocabulary through the context of a heartwarming story about resilience and creativity. Pepito is a little boy in Bolivia who dreams of playing music with his siblings but scarcity and misfortune stand in his way. They overcome by making their own instruments out of bottles, cans, and other upcycled materials. Luke plays an array of homemade instruments throughout the story.
Every child who attends the event will get a picture book to take home. This is a free event but please register so they can ensure they have enough books for everyone.
This event is designed for children of all ages and is free to attend. After playtime, stick around for a tasty lunch at one of the restaurants!
During the event, Fenton will be collecting school supplies and food donations for Backpack Buddies and local schools in Wake County.
