Ta Contento is hosting a Bolivian Festival at The Plant, 220 Lorax Lane, Pittsboro, North Carolina, on Saturday, August 8, 2026, from 1 to 6 p.m.
it’s free to attend.
The festival is a cultural celebration designed to share Bolivian music, dance, history, and traditions with the community. Through stage performances, interactive dance workshops, cultural stands, and a small market area, the event aims to offer guests a warm, family-friendly introduction to different aspects of Bolivian culture.
Two participatory dance workshops are planned: one focused on cueca and one on caporales, each lasting about 40 minutes.
These workshops are meant to be fun, accessible introductions to the dances and their cultural background, open to all ages and experience levels.
The Plant businesses will be open for food and beverages.
